Actions carry an owner, a date, a priority and a status — and the thing they came from. Overdue sorts to the top without you filtering for it, because a list you have to interrogate is a list you stop opening.
Every row can answer “where did this come from?”, months later, by opening the recording or the photograph it was read from.

Anatomy
What an action actually holds
A task app stores a string and a checkbox. An operations record has to hold enough to survive a handover.
Priority
Low, medium, high or urgent, proposed by Zephyr from the language of the request and adjustable by you.
Owner and people
Who it's on, and who else is named in it. "Ask John to confirm staffing" produces an action linked to John.
Due date
Extracted from natural language — "before Friday", "end of the month", "by the 14th" — not typed into a date field by hand.
Provenance
Whether it was AI-generated, what Zephyr was unsure about, and which capture it came out of.
Activity trail
An append-only record of what happened to this action and when. It's an audit trail, not an edit history you can rewrite.
- Filters that match how the day actually runs. Today, upcoming, overdue, waiting, delegated, completed — then narrow by mine, team, priority, project or person.
- Swipe to complete or postpone. The two things you do most, at one gesture each.
- Projects and people as first-class records. Everything owed to a client, or everything sitting with one colleague, in one view.
- Dependencies. An action can be blocked by another, so "we can't book until legal signs" is a fact in the system rather than something you remember.
The Work screen
Built for triage, not for gardening
The failure mode of every task system is that maintaining it becomes a second job. Zephyr's answer is that the list mostly maintains itself: actions arrive already classified, already dated, already attributed, because they were extracted rather than typed.
What's left for you is the part that needs judgement — is this real, is it mine, is it urgent — which is exactly the part you were doing in your head anyway.
